Old Millhillian, Hans Count von der Recke (School House 1970-71), was chosen to carry the Olympic torch through the town where he lives in Japan on April 22nd. Hans was chosen to carry out this honour for his efforts in helping Ozu city to recover from the floods in 2018.

 

"It was one of the most happiest and exciting moments in my life, carrying the Olympic torch, truly an amazing experience.”
