OMC ENGINEERS' DINNER FRIDAY 10th MAY 2019 BLEEDING HEART RESTAURANT 6:30pm for 7:45pm Costs: Club Members £70 Non Members £75 New Junior (Under 30) £45 Dress: Business Attire The 2019 OMs Engineers Dinner will be held at The Bleeding Heart Restaurant, Bleeding Heart Yard, off Greville Street, Hatton Garden, London EC1N 8SJ; close to Farringdon station. All OMs who are either Engineers, Scientists or linked to the various technical professions are invited with their wives or partners. In the last few years we have been delighted to welcome a number of first time attendees, and I hope that we can do so again this year; so please do pass on the word and help get the message around. Last years’ format seemed to work well so we shall repeat this once again. This allows more time for networking, and hopefully we shall be joined by representatives from the school to tell us what is going on in technology and engineering at the school, and to bring along a couple of aspiring engineering/technology students from the school. We shall be joined by our Club President Richard Llewellyn. We shall meet from 6:30pm at the Restaurant where we have a private dining room and cash bar. I look forward to welcoming you all, Gordon Mizner CONTACT: email@example.com to register or for further information.
EAST ANGLIA DINNER 4 May 2019 With just two weeks to go until this event David Short and Russell Cowan urge you to book your place(s) for this popular event and thereby enjoy the mix of historical and cultural experience alongside the elegance and fine food provided by Trinity College. Add to this the pleasure of the company of fellow Old Millhillians and their partners, undergraduates from the regions' universities, a few pupils from the School who have places at Cambridge or aspirations to study there, Sarah Bellotti, Head of Mill Hill International and Richard Llewellyn, President of the Club, we are on course for a splendid evening. In keeping with the new format of this event, the evening starts with the private visit to The Wren Library at Trinity College from 6pm. It is a privilege for us to be shown the treasures and be informed of the history of the library by the Librarian. This will be followed at 7pm by a buffet supper in the Allhusen Room of the College, enjoying the excellent cuisine and wines for which the College is well known.
