Mill Hill Now |
Sports Day is a major event in the Mill Hill calendar and always has been. For many OMs it was either the best or worst day of the year depending on their sporting prowess. Overall Millhillians all love the competitive element of the day and spectators can enjoy great energy and camaraderie from those participating.
This year was an action packed day with several different sporting activities taking place including Cricket, Football, Hockey, Netball and Rugby. Pupils also competed in some less mainstream games such as Badminton, Croquet, Table Tennis, and Ultimate Frisbee.
The more traditional events took place in the afternoon such as 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m races, javelin, shot put, high jump and long jump as well as a max distance row, tug of war and closest to the pin.
Well done to everyone who took part, both pupils and staff. There were many victories to be celebrated but the ultimate winners of the day with the most wins was Atkinson House. Congratulations to them!
