It was a pleasure to welcome back so many Old Millhillians from the 1950s for a memorable afternoon of lunch and reconnecting with old friends, alongside hearing about life at the School today. Guests were warmly welcomed by Senior Monitors Benji L (Cedars, 2022-2027) and Daisy N (Weymouth, 2022-2027), who shared reflections on their experiences at Mill Hill.
Throughout the afternoon, there was a wonderful sense of nostalgia as Old Millhillians reminisced about school days and treasured memories.
Following the lunch, John Nelson (Murray, 1957-1962) delivered a thoughtful and eloquent speech reflecting on his time at Mill Hill and shared his hopes for the School’s future. Old Millhillians also heard an update on the continued development of the School from Antony Spencer, CEO of the Mill Hill Education Group.
The afternoon concluded with tours of the School led by current pupils, offering attendees the opportunity to see how Mill HIll has evolved over the years. A performance by the Corps of Drums on the Quad provided a fitting and memorable end to a special reunion.
Thank you to all who attended.
