Mill Hill Enterprise

In the Spotted on Screen section of our newsletter, we will now be sharing more of our enterprise activities. It's intriguing and we hope you enjoy reading.

The Mill Hill Enterprise team are keeping busy and throughout the years there have been a number of films, TV series and much more that have been filmed in the grounds and inside the buildings of the Mill Hill School.

On 16 March 2022, Sky 1 Series 2 Episode 3 of Bloods was broadcasted. A part of the episode was filmed at the Mill Hill School, in front of the portico last year.

The series is about Maleek and Wendy both paramedics at the south London emergency service. Maleek is a “tough-guy” who’s actually quite lonely and Wendy is a people-pleasing, always smiling divorcée. When the two are chosen to work together, they immediately clash with each other. However, as they both experience the endless rush of 999 calls, put their lives at risk, and struggle with other colleagues, their relationship develops and the series takes an interesting turn.

The series is a great laugh and if you haven’t already we would recommend you give it a try; it’s got great reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

It is fascinating to see how film crews transform the school building and grounds into fictional settings, and how they go about editing the shots they take on the day to integrate into the film or series.
