At the beginning of May 30 lucky pupils enjoyed a Tennis Masterclass delivered by two Davis Cup Pros. Danny Sapsford and Jonathan Marray (past winner of the Men’s Wimbledon Doubles title, 2012).
The Masterclass focused on doubles technique and tactics along with a Q&A session where pupils had the opportunity to ask about Marray’s training regime, what it was like to walk out onto Centre Court and the psychological side of competing.
Pupils from all year groups were delighted to be photographed with Marray and his Wimbledon trophy on the newly revamped Mill Hill courts at the end of the session.
Danny Sapsford, Manager of BIFT (Bright Ideas for Tennis) passes on his thanks once again to all parents, pupils, OMs and staff who supported Mill Hill School in Fundraising last term.
