Welcome back Old Millhillians! |
Almost 30 Old Millhillians attended the Call to Remembrance Service this year. Starting in the Octagon, OMs made their way to the Gate of Honour where wreaths were laid in remembrance of Mill Hill's fallen.
The morning continued with a beautiful service of Remembrance in Chapel where President of the Old Millhillians Club, Graham Chase, gave a reading.
OMs were then invited to lunch in The Crick, where a collection of portraits of the OM Fallen whose images were previously missing were on display. Of the 192 OMs who died in WWI, 32 portraits were initially unaccounted for. In the last year we have located 27 of these missing portraits, and the search continues for the remaining five. This display aims to ensure that each OM is remembered with the dignity and respect they deserve.
