Top Tips
Creating a good profile helps other alumni find you and lets them know a bit about who you are now

1. Click on any of the pencil icons to change any of your details

2. Add your higher education and career details and achievements. The more detail you add the easier it is to network with others with similar experiences. Again click on the pencil icon next to the relevant section. You can also press the 'Import from LinkedIn' button to overwrite your career details with the information you currently use on LinkedIn.

3. Upload a photo by clicking the camera in the photo space. This is optional but much more fun. If you joined using Facebook or Linkedin your profile photo will be imported automatically

4. Click the 'add to your vine' button to find family members who have signed up.

Other information, including your contact details, password and privacy settings can be found by clicking the settings tab on your profile.

5. Decide whether you want your profile to be able to be viewed by any alumnus who is logged in or just by those alumni you have connected to.

6. Decide whether you want your email address to be viewed by other users

7. You can also change your password on this screen, change your notification settings and your communication preferences
