One Friday in March, in typical Old Millhillian style, a group of friends from the class of ‘92 - left for Poland with the simple idea of delivering humanitarian aid to Ukranian refugees and to get back in time for work on Monday morning.
Nic Leon (Winterstoke 1987-92) left North London in his company’s catering van jam packed with donations and met with Bramm Tan (Collinson 1987-92) in Calais. Enroute to Gdańsk to deliver their aid to Ukranian refugees crossing the Polish border, the team were hosted by Old Millhillian friends along the way. Crowdfunding amongst the wider Old Millhillian community covered all the travel costs: ‘It’s a mission, but something as a group of friends we are only too happy to support and do what we can to chip in” Conan Sturdy (School House 1997-92).
