  • What is your proudest achievement?

- Making a BBC documentary in Africa about the plight of Saharawan refugees which led to Margaret Thatcher cancelling a major arms deal with Morocco.

E.Stringer (English)

  • Are you still in touch with other OMs?

Just two, John Dawson and Michael Hailey who now lives in Australia.

  • What advice would you give to current Millhillians?

Don’t be afraid to follow your dreams regardless of what anyone else may say or think. You are at work for a very long time – it’s so much better and easier if you really enjoy it.

  • What life lesson do you carry with you from Mill Hill?

To be independent and to try to live life to the full.
