Dear Old Millhillian,
First of all, a big “Thank You” to John Oldroyd who has organized all our get-togethers for the last 12 years. It’s almost impossible for me to fill his shoes but here goes!
Please mark in your calendar:
Friday 12 April - 6.30pm-8pm Dinner (Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club)
Saturday 13 April - 6pm Drinks (The Firkin Pub)
On the Friday, we are having our latest OMs Dinner at the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club. Details of the Club are HERE.
It is a fabulous venue and the food promises to be wonderful. It will be a great time to get together with old friends and make new ones, share some good times and memories. We will be honoured by the presence of the new OM President, Stephanie Miller and Club Chair Peter Wakeham who has a long-standing relationship with the OM Club and has come to our previous events. They’re both coming all the way from NW7 to share in our celebration. Stephanie will bring a different perspective on the future of the Club, PLUS she is a Governor of the Foundation so can talk knowledgeably about the school as well.
Although we do not have all the details yet, it promises to be a wonderful evening. We are targeting about $150/person all in which is wonderful value. We will be forwarding the menu and details to those interested in the next few days.
Some of our visitors will be entertained the previous evening by OMs in New York City, so we want to make sure that we show them a good Canadian time here!
The Toronto Cricket Club is just South of Highway 401 near the Avenue Rd intersection. Address is 141 Wilson Avenue

Finally, we are having an informal get-together on Saturday April 13th at 6 pm at The Firkin Pub which is about a 4-minute taxi /Uber ride from the Novotel.
Let’s all get together and enjoy a wonderful evening of fun and comradeship! I would be grateful if you follow the link below to the Club website to express your interest.
